Since I started this amazing adventure, my aim was to help little producers of rural areas to improve their visibility.
It’s a hard work, because the most of the times, people don’t believe in themselves and you need to give them another point of view.
I live in a country punished by this eight years old crisis, and motivation, trust and “I can do it” are in a pure regression.
I’m a positive person, I try to help someone who ask me for, with a non-profit attitude, and I hope it will be my behavior in the next ages.
That’s why I try to give people hopes about themselves, their work , their products and their communities
It’s necessary to fight with our commerce weapons to improve the little – fishes sea.
I know, it’s true, in Olive Oil world, things work in this way, very very big companies buy a high quality extra virgin olive oil at very low prices and they sell it with a high add-value.
Olive Oil is a commodity nowadays.
This situation took me to write this blog.
I want to attach producers with sellers
I want to show new ways to work to little-rural-business
I want to write about new ideas from everywhere in order to inspire us
I want to shout I’M RURAL AND I’M PROUD.
Because this , last week wrote me AKIS, Anastasios Nezis, from Greece and I would like to show you his project. It’s called Ancient Corinth Olive Oil
You can read more about Akis and his project HERE.
This project came from an idea similar to mine, I mean, supporting rural world, little farmers and avoiding BIG FISHES PRACTISES is my way.
Akis started a crowfunding project in order to take his family olive oil to UK, bottling and labelling there without intermediary.
I hope you will take this project into account, supporting it directly, talking people around you about it, taking it as a new idea for your future projects or by buying AKI’s EVOO in the next future.
Thanks for supporting rural world.
